I documented this method in this article. The above drawing is a quick sketch I made beside the Bargue copy to figure out its anatomical landmarks. I’m adding to this purely linear approach by adding a more structural one that takes the underlying anatomy into account. In order to accompany this process, I’m also improving my knowledge of anatomy by drawing from photo reference using similar procedures to those we used in school.
